This class consists of slow and gentle yoga and movement, breathwork, mindfulness and meditation.
In each class, you'll work on physical aspects such as strengthening your bones, improving your balance and maintaining mobility in your joints. We've got plenty of props and chairs to support you. You'll also practice calming your mind; every class will include a guided relaxation.
The class is also an opportunity to connect with other people and yourself.
The class moves slowly and ends with a chat and a hot drink.
This class is a studio membership or donation-based, meaning you pay what you can.
Weekly Wellbeing is for anyone who wants to practice yoga in a supportive and friendly environment. You don't need any previous experience to do this class.
You will need to be able to get up and down from the mat once for this class.
There may be some wrist and knee pressure, but it is minimal, and you can use blankets to cushion your joints. You are welcome to do seated poses in a chair if you prefer.
