This open-level class uses yoga practices to activate your parasympathetic nervous system to help calm stress, anxiety or burnout symptoms. We will do gentle asana (postures), Pranayama (breathwork), a short guided meditation, and finish with a restorative Yoga Nidra.
This class benefits people who feel stressed, anxious, burned out, or just generally overwhelmed and need some ‘me time’. The class is suitable for beginners and will consist of getting up and down from the mat but mostly low to the ground. During class, alternative postures can be given if necessary.
Steph will be guiding you through this practice; she will be using the knowledge she has gained during her Qualified Yoga Therapist 600hrs training and 5 years of teaching, qualified in Vinyasa, Yin, Mandala, Prenatal, Yoga Nidra, and level 2 in Reiki.
