This 10-week AgeWell Chair Yoga course invites you to connect to your body and feel well on a holistic level through yoga and meditation in a chair.
This practice is designed to give you a moment to pause, relax and stretch, all assisted on a chair (with the option to come up to standing, too). As it is trauma-sensitive, you are reminded that you always have a choice; everything is optional. The 10-week course is aimed at mixed abilities, where we mindfully move, stretch and meditate. It invites you to be more mindful of your body and movement, be able to check in with yourself, and begin to notice. This course is suitable for those who struggle to get up and down, on and off a yoga mat; those who struggle with mobility may find this class more accessible.
